Trim Levels of the 2021 Ford Mach-E
What engines are available?
The 2021 Mustang Mach-E is a high-performance vehicle in every sense of the word but incredibly efficient. Early trims of the Mach-E come with rear-wheel-drive and a 75.7-kWh battery pack that is good for up to 230 miles after a full charge. If you want more flexibility, the California Route One trim has a larger 98.8-kWh battery, which can get you up to 300 miles. For those who wish to have higher performance, the GT trim provides it with the ability to produce 459 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque. The GT can go 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds or less.
What is the interior like?
Taking a peek inside the cabin of the 2021 Mustang Mach-E gives consumers a unique blend of forward-thinking tech and old-school capability. There is a giant central touchscreen motor with a vertical pose that dominates the control panel. This touchscreen controls all of the Mach-E's primary functions and is accentuated by a second screen that is in front of the driver that shows the speed and available driving range. These screens are part of Ford's latest Sync system, which adapts to the driver's preferences over time. While Ford's sync system is all its own, the Mach-E will still be compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also plenty of storage space throughout the cabin as the Mach-E can comfortably seat five passengers. There are also two trunks, one in the front which has enough space for airline luggage and one in the back which could house an ice chest. There is 4.8 cubic feet of space in the front trunk and 29 cubic feet of space in the rear trunk.
What are some of the safety features?
Every version of the Mach-E comes with the Ford Co-Pilot360, which has many available safety features, including frontal collision warning with automatic braking, a blind-spot monitor, and lane-keeping assist. There is even an optional hands-free driving system known as Active Drive Assist. which can take over driving on certain roads. The driver will still need to keep their eyes on the road, and sensors in the dashboard can turn off the system if the driver's attention is elsewhere. The last system we will talk about is Road Edge Detection, which works like lane keep assist but uses the edge of the roads surface, making it perfect for rural and country roads.
