Ford sought to meet both of these needs with new option packages! The work-tough brand is adding new business and recreational options for the 2021 Transit to meet every driver's needs from those who drive a Transit to make deliveries and those who take it on grand adventures across the country! Did you know that more than half all of the motorhomes sold in the United States are built on a Ford chassis? Ford used that expertise to create packages specifically designed to outfit the Transit model to meet the needs of adventurous owners! There are three new option packages available for the 2021 model year. The first is the Motorhome Prep Package. This comes with a new economy-rated version of Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that is designed to handle motorhome conversions, and adaptive cruise control for a boost of confidence for the driver. The RV Prep Package comes with adaptive cruise control, a side-sensing system, fog lamps, an eight-speaker sound system, four-way manual swivel driver and passenger seats, and heavy-duty trailer tow offerings. The third and final package is the Adventure Prep Package that bundles the EcoBoost V6 engine, a heavy-duty front axle, limited-slip differential rear axle, privacy glass, all-wheel-drive, and privacy glass.

Many people have taken to having their goods delivered since the beginning of the pandemic, to practice social distancing when possible. Ford sought to meet the delivery driver’s needs with new package updates and options. The new Parcel Delivery Package is focused on the incredible growth of the delivery industry that makes accessing and organizing the cargo area easier. These features include an electric parking brake, a 50% wider aisle between the front seats, optional center console, additional driver legroom, hinged rear doors with 253-degree opening, and full interior lighting. The new Livery Package offers a ready-made configuration that puts emphasis on style and comfort. This package includes 16-inch silver wheels, full privacy glass, HID headlamps, a power sliding rear door, leather upholstery, and 19-way power seats.
