You’ll notice the 2020 Ford F-250 is looking a little different this year thanks to a freshly redesigned front and rear styling. The super duty truck also comes back swinging in the 2020 model year with a new and more powerful 7.3L V8 engine under the hood. The V8 comes mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The super duty trucks diesel engine option now also comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Other new features for the 2020 model year include a new Tremor Off-Road Package.

6.7L POWER STROKE V8 TURBO DIESEL ENGINE
The available 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel is upgraded for 2020. It has a new 36,000-psi fuel-injection system, featuring injectors that can atomize fuel up to eight times per stroke to optimize combustion. The engine features a newly redesigned electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger that improves throttle response. It also features a stronger block, cylinder heads, connector rods, and bearing, plus new forged-steel pistons, which means 475 hp and 1,050 lbs.-ft of torque.

How many engines are available for the F-250?
There is a trio of different engines available for the 2020 Ford F-250. The standard engine under the hood of the heavy-duty truck is a 385 horsepower 6.2-liter V8 that makes 430 lb-ft of torque and comes paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The 7.3-liter V8 engine that is new for this model year cranks out 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. The last engine available in the lineup is a monstrous turbocharged diesel V8 that cranks out 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines come with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel-drive is standard across the lineup, but four-wheel-drive is available.
Can you tell me about the available features for the F-250?
The Ford F-250 comes in a variety of flavors including the base model XL, which comes with vinyl upholstery, telescoping tow mirrors, a trailer tow package, and a removable locking tailgate. The XLT tacks on heated mirrors, an 8-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, and upgrades to cloth upholstery. Following the XLT is the Lariat, Platinum, Limited, and King Ranch.
