TOUGH PERFORMANCE TO FOLLOW

10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

F-150 EcoBoost,® V8 and diesel engines deliver their power through an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission. Compared with the 6-speed, the 10-speed delivers improved overall performance, with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges of the power band. Features include optimized wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions plus three overdrive gears. What’s more, you can choose from selectable modes: Normal, Tow/Haul, Snow/Wet, EcoSelect and Sport.

Engines

Whether you drive it for work or recreation, F-150 offers the performance you need with its potent six-engine lineup. Naturally aspirated gas powerplants with advanced twin independent variable cam timing. Turbocharged and port-fuel/direct-injected (PFDI) gas EcoBoost® V6 engines. And the 3.0L Power Stroke® V6 Turbo Diesel.

SETTING THE BAR FOR TOUGHNESS

F-150 RAPTOR

The F-150 Raptor is equipped to take on punishing terrain that would be off-limits for a conventional 4-wheeler.* Class-exclusive** FOX live valve monotube shocks with internal bypass technology feature an electronic solenoid valve that provides continuously variable compression damping. The Torque-On-Demand® transfer case automatically applies torque with fast responsiveness to the front or rear. The electronic-locking rear differential, when engaged, locks the axle for a firmer grip at both wheels. And the Raptor rides on BFGoodrich® All Terrain KO2 tires. Available beadlock-capable wheels let you air down the tires for enhanced traction.

F-150 OFF-ROAD

Shifting into four-wheel drive is as easy as turning a dial with the electronic shift-on-the-fly (ESOF) system. ESOF lets you choose two four-wheel-drive modes (4x4 low or high) as well as two-wheel drive. LARIAT, King Ranch® , Limited, Platinum and Raptor models also include automatic 4WD mode. The FX4 Off-Road Package includes electronic-locking rear differential (locks the rear axle completely for enhanced traction at both wheels), Hill Descent Control™ , off-road tuned shock absorbers, skid plates and “FX4 Off-Road” decal. Plus, the available 360-Degree Camera With Split-View Display is helpful when you’re maneuvering in tight spaces and on off-road trails.

READY FOR ANYTHING

OFF-ROAD TECHNOLOGY

The F-150 Raptor employs advanced technology to help provide the degree of control required for extreme off-road travel.* The Terrain Management System™ offers seven selectable modes (Normal, Sport, Slippery, Tow/Haul, Deep Snow/Sand, Baja and Rock Crawl). And there’s Trail Control,™ a cruise control system for off-road terrain. You set a speed up to 20 mph and the system manages acceleration and braking, sending torque and stopping force to individual wheels as needed, so you can focus on steering over the demanding terrain.

HARDWORKING, SMART PICKUP BOX

F-150 offers not only available best-in-class payload,* but also a pickup bed that can be equipped to make work easier and maximize productivity. Available features include: Flexible, configurable BoxLink™ system. LED box lights. Stowable loading ramps. Integrated tailgate step with lift assist. Remote tailgate release (lock or unlock and lower the tailgate). Deployable box side steps. Heavy-Duty Payload Package.

TECHNOLOGY FOR CONFIDENCE AND CONVENIENCE

FORD CO-PILOT360

Ford Co-Pilot360™ Technologies can help you navigate our increasingly crowded roads and highways with greater confidence.  Features include BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Coverage, Lane-Keeping System,* Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Auto High-Beam Headlamps and a Rear View Camera.

360-DEGREE CAMERA WITH SPLIT-VIEW DISPLAY

With the available 360-Degree Camera with Split-View Display on your F-150, you have a bird’s-eye view all around your truck. This feature uses four cameras — one in the grille, one on the tailgate and one under each sideview mirror — to stitch together four images to create a 360-degree view. What are the different types of engines offered with the F-150?

Power is something inherent with every F-150 truck; when you push down on the acceleration, you will feel the truck come to life with confidence that it can get the job done. There are many engines to choose from, starting with the 3.3-liter V6 engine that can push out 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Diesel engines are great for the extra fuel economy and torque potential, and Ford acknowledges this by bringing in a 3.0-liter TurboDiesel V6 engine that can pump out 250 horsepower and a potent 440 lb-ft of torque. Eight-Cylinder powerhouses are also a staple in the pickup truck department, and the F-150 can bring one in with the 5.0-liter V8 engine (395 hp, 400 lb-ft). If you are looking to turbocharge your V6 engine, Ford offers three different twin-turbocharged variants, with a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 (325 hp, 400 lb-ft), a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 (375 hp, 470 lb-ft), and a tuned 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 option as well (450 hp, 510 lb-ft). Each engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, configured to be able to tow heavy loads earning the F-150 a max towing capacity of 13,200 pounds when properly outfitted.

What are the trim models to select from?

The F-150 comes in one of six different potential trim models, each coming with a set of features that build-up as you increase in trim level. Starting with the F-150 XL, you will find features such as daytime running lights, automatic high-beams,front tow hooks with 4x4 models, standard manual air conditioning, and a FordPass Connect infotainment system. Continuing up through the King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trim models, the F-150 establishes the highest amount of luxury in this pickup truck, with features such as heated/ventilated seats, adaptive cruise control, power-adjustable seats with memory settings, and more. If the task is going to take the F-150 off-road, Ford offers the Raptor trim model, which builds off of the XLT feature list and adds on a reinforced chassis and frame, an advanced 4x4 system with extra traction support, tuned off-road suspension, underbody skid plates, off-road-oriented tires, and a unique interior/exterior design.

What safety technologies are incorporated within the F-150?

The safety of the 2020 F-150 starts with the advanced airbag system inside the truck that also includes additional airbags throughout the rest of the cabin including side-curtain and side seat-mounted airbags. Other great standard safety features added on include anti-lock brakes, a rear-view camera with dynamic hitch assist, curve control support, and an AdvanceTrac system with roll stability control.
